Interns and new hires are expected to produce results yet need guidance. Supervisors care yet have no time to coach or mentor developing talent.

Positioning Self is a soft skills coaching program that directly addresses common interpersonal challenges companies face when nurturing future and fresh talent.

Registration is free during summer 2025 for first-time employer partners.

  • The Positioning Self program meets teams where and while they work to:

    • Empower interns and new hires with interpersonal strategies so they can confidently demonstrate their value, build strong relationships, and navigate professional environments.

    • Equip supervisors with support strategies so they can build and strengthen their talent pipeline.

  • The program is for organizations interested in incorporating real-time interpersonal skills training and coaching into their existing internship programs.

    • Organization hosting one or more interns or new hires with assigned support supervisors

    • Internship period is six (6) or more consecutive weeks; first 90 days of new hire onboarding

    • Internship or new hire assignments include defined roles and responsibilities

    • Up to 12 soft skill modules delivered once per week based on business needs

    • Interns and new hires receive soft skill strategies digitally.

    • Supervisors receive support strategies via email.

    • No class time. No system login.

  • The program leverages the relationship between interns and their supervisors to advance the interns’ professional growth and internship success for the organization.

    • Joint participation by interns/new hires and supervisors

    • Participants complete 6, 8, 10, or 12 program modules based on the organization’s internship or onboarding period.

  • Register based on your organization’s internship or onboarding period.
