I leave room for others to prove me right or wrong.

No one likes to be wrong. But, no matter how awkward or embarrassing, you can leverage your mistakes.

When you're wrong, others have room to bask in the glory of being right. So, bask in that glory with them by outwardly recognizing their part in resolving the problem (that may or may not be your fault).

Publicly thank someone for catching critical details that you missed.

Validate the difference in perspective when someone makes a better point than you.

Express your appreciation for having your back when things go awry.

Apologize first, then discuss the rest.

Do this on a consistent basis, and others will be more likely to do the same when it's your time in the sun.

In what ways do you lean into the times you're wrong?
